The LeanActivity Factory Game transforms Lean theory into hands-on learning. Participants build, assemble, and ship products in realistic production rounds — while discovering how small improvements in setup, layout, flow, and teamwork can drastically boost performance.
The simulation is ideal for internal Lean training sessions, onboarding programs, or management workshops. It’s a practical way to teach Lean principles without PowerPoint slides — learning happens directly through action, observation, and reflection.
Training Concept
The Factory Game simulates a small production system divided into several workstations. During the first round, participants experience waste, bottlenecks, and long lead times. Then, they apply Lean tools such as:
- 5S (Workplace Organization) – bringing order and clarity to the workspace
- SMED (Quick Changeovers) – reducing setup time between product variants
- Value Stream Mapping – visualizing flow and identifying waste
- One-Piece Flow – improving throughput and reducing inventory
- Kanban & Pull Systems – aligning production with real demand
Each round is followed by a short reflection and performance analysis. Teams measure productivity, lead time, and quality indicators to visualize the impact of Lean improvements in real time.
